About Climate Vulnerable Forum and V20 Finance Ministers (CVF-V20)
The CVF-V20 is an independent intergovernmental group headquartered in Accra, Ghana, which serves as a South-South cooperation platform for climate vulnerable countries to achieve long-term climate resilience and prosperity. The CVF is represented by foreign affairs, climate, and/or environment ministers, while the V20 is composed of finance ministers who translate the CVF’s development-positive climate action agenda into real economy financing, investments, and outcomes. Today, the CVF-V20 coalition stands strong with 70 member countries, representing 20% of the global population. Despite contributing only 6% of total global emissions, these nations find themselves at the frontline of the climate crisis, bearing the brunt of its devastating impacts.
