Mobilizing private capital to support early retirement of certain low-producing oil and gas wells can create a new revenue stream for smaller companies, provide local jobs and other benefits to nearby communities, and avoid emissions - verifiably. Through these projects, we help organizations achieve their climate goals in a way that ensures environmental integrity and makes good business sense. Our projects help local ecosystems, renew urban communities, protect groundwater and air quality, and stop the single largest source of methane emissions. There are over one million low-production wells across the globe that produce 5% of our oil and gas but over a billion tons of CO2 per year. By designing and implementing environmental strategies to help commercially cut oil and gas emissions, we create carbon credit projects that are third-party verified, registered, and continuously audited to ensure best-in-class integrity and permanence.
