ClinicAI is a software application for medical practitioners aimed towards facilitating the diagnosis of Epilepsy. It offers a smart alternative to manual analysis of EEG recordings, which is usually performed by doctors, automatically detecting epileptic seizures from patient’s brainwaves using machine learning algorithms. Our tool can dramatically reduce the duration of signal interpretation, allowing for hospitals to consult more patients in a shorter time.
Moreover, when EEG recordings are too long (24h and more), some minor seizures can go unnoticed as one cannot visualise the entire recording, resulting in inaccurate assessment of a patient’s condition. Our tool is capable of processing substantial amounts of data in a short time, thus not missing any seizures. This allows for doctors to offer better treatment plans in a shorter time, which is the main goal of the project.
