Clinical Methods is a research service and consulting firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah, specialized in clinical trials and healthcare data analytics. We take a unique approach to providing the pharmaceutical and biotech industries with answers to their research questions through an established Network of Investigators. The Clinical Methods Network of Investigators is composed of scientists, physicians, and research staff in academic medical centers, community clinics, hospitals, and specialty care centers who are familiar with and have experience performing studies that use the full array of information available in electronic medical records. In addition to using diagnoses, medications, and procedures, the clinical elements available for use in analysis include vital signs, problem lists with symptoms, laboratory and microbiology results, and imaging studies. In addition, we use state-of-the-art natural language processing techniques to identify information contained in progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries.
