Cliniresearch has high experience in Phase 1 (45% of the assigned projects) and gives the ideal support for the first in men research of the new products. The other 55% covers the phases II, III and IV for other projects and are also performed with lots of high quality performance. All trial activities are covered from feasibility till close-out. Our open communication, goal of the investigation, practical organization and selection and training of personnel and investigators makes it possible to meet the target of valuable data.
The clinical trial which has challenged me -as founder- the most was one I have been working on for Ebola in Sierra Leone. Up there the situations were basic, exceptional, and full of surprises. The difference in culture, and the impact it had on the processes required during the trial were exceptional. Before I left for that project, I knew what Africa was like because I had lived for 15 years on the continent, nevertheless I have learned that working in science is still different than working in healthcare in such circumstances. It is important to have a couple of eyes more and take immediate actions, make immediate decisions, have a creative problem solving mind. This was a very challenging period. The need of flexibility and adaptive approach to certain situations were very common.
The support of the young Biopharma and Universities might also require adaptive way of clinical research processing. Project planning and finding a way of getting things done in an efficient way if necessary, even when difficult, are things I like to work on.
Our staff has good knowledge of regulatory regulations, has regular training in clinical research updates of regulatory. We are located near Ghent and have the possibility to work home based or at our location. CRA's do speak all 3 local languages. We organize our activities in a way to reduce costs.
