About Clintel Foundation

The Climate Intelligence Foundation (Clintel) was founded in 2019 by emeritus professor of geophysics Guus Berkhout and science writer Marcel Crok. Clintel’s main objective is to generate knowledge and understanding of the causes and effects of climate change as well as the effects of climate policy. Our main public statement has been the World Climate Declaration with its headline "There is no climate emergency". This declaration (see clintel.org) has been signed by around 2000 scientists and experts around the world.
