Clintonel Innovation Centre (CIC) is a solar powered STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Centre, Nigeria’s first Makerspace (engineering or hardware-focused tech hub) and Hardware Startups Incubator. We provide the training, mentoring and equipment for young people to create engineering innovations, build indigenous products and startup technology businesses. Vision: To transform Africa into an industrialized and technologically advanced society with zero poverty Mission: To develop Africa through engineering, innovation and manufacturing. Focal Areas 1.STEM Education Introducing young people early to the practical knowledge and application of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects while spurring interest in STEM careers. 2.Technology and Startup Incubation Providing training, guidance and support to inventors and innovators helping them develop their ideas into market-ready products and businesses. 3.Engineering Education & Job Placement Transforming engineering education in Africa, equipping engineering lecturers, students, and graduates with industry relevant skills while enabling engineering companies to easily hire competent engineers. 4.Digital & TVET Skills Equipping school leavers with digital, technical, vocational, and soft skills necessary to secure employment, become self-employed or start up new businesses.
