The Latin American Center for Internet Research aims at an educational work, through the promotion, implementation and dissemination of observation activities, research and theoretical and experimental studies on issues related to the Internet; promoting the teaching of knowledge that may be useful for the better individual and collective management of the Internet, as well as digital rights and their defense; to stimulate the technical and scientific exchange with similar national or foreign institutions; to disseminate the results of the research and studies carried out by the center and to provide its facilities and resources for the realization of such research; as well as the organization and execution of lectures, conferences, congresses and any other form of non-profit educational organization.
