Born from a love story, Clos Solène is a small, family-owned, French winery located in Paso Robles, California.
Our 6th generation winemaker, owner and farmer Guillaume comes from Languedoc-Roussillon in the South of France. After meeting the love of his life in Bordeaux, he came to Paso Robles in 2004 for an internship at L'Aventure.
Once again, he fell in love - with California and its wine, and promised his love, Solène, that if she trusted him and his passion for wine, someday they will have a Clos Solène, where aromas will be more intense, colors more brilliant, reflecting what he creates with her as his muse.
17 years, 27 acres, and 3 children later, they are living their California dream, and create sophisticated and elegant wines, inspired by their French roots.
