Close Coat is the only fully patented, traditional central closure outerwear garment whose design has been tested and proven safer for use than traditional outerwear for car seat travel. Despite the heavily tested and regulated car seat industry, many well-meaning parents and caregivers negate the safety benefits they provide when they use them in conjunction with traditional outerwear garments while securing their children. Injury and car seat ejection risk, due to air compression that occurs upon impact during a vehicle collision, is compounded exponentially by most traditional outerwear garments when worn during car seat restraint use. CloseCoat is the only patented design of its kind, which eliminates this compression risk to virtually zero, while allowing for the ease of traditional use via front closure.
