After securing funding via private venture capital, Cloudburst Broadband was able to negotiate exclusive real estate rights in prime locations in New York City, NY; Jersey City, NJ; and various waterfront locales in the Baltimore/Washington Metro area to build and maintain a series of wireless access points to provide broadband coverage to internet users on the go! WiFi, years before the term was coined!
