Friends Of The Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail

Friends Of The Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail company information, Employees & Contact Information

Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail (CLSRT) is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to create a 34-mile multi-use path substantially following the old railroad grade of the Concord and Claremont Railroad from Pierce Manse in Concord, NH to Newbury Harbor on Lake Sunapee in Newbury, NH. Much of the old railroad grade is privately owned, so we ask landowners for permission to make the trail on their land. This is a true community project, succeeding because landowners, residents, businesses and visitors all understand how transformative a rail trail through Concord, Hopkinton, Warner, Sutton, Bradford and Newbury will be for their communities and for the region. Others like our informal tagline of "Ice cream every 45 minutes." which is our way of saying people riding bikes on the trail will come to a village center every 45 minutes. We are an all volunteer organization. We make it easy for people to have fun helping the trail effort for as short or as long as they like. See more at www.clsrt.org
