The ClusterDEM Lab is a research facility under the C-MAST - Centre for Mechanical and Aerospace Science and Technologies, located within the Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Beira Interior.
Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters, enabling advanced numerical simulations in multiphysics systems, and cutting-edge experimental setups for flow control and electrohydrodynamics.
We specialize in:
Numerical Simulations: Solving complex problems in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and multiphysics phenomena.
Flow Control and Electrohydrodynamics: Experimental research on plasma actuators, aerodynamic optimization, and flow manipulation.
