The full-scale war has become a powerful catalyst for developing Ukraine’s defense technology sector. More than 10 clusters of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance and hundreds of innovative member companies are working on creating advanced drones, EW systems, robotics, AI applications, communication systems, cybersecurity solutions, and more. However, these players face major challenges: lack of funding, limited access to international markets, and a shortage of innovation infrastructure in Ukraine. We are launching pilot projects to lay the foundation for a joint Euro-Ukrainian defense industrial ecosystem.
