Clear Minds Better Livez aims to promote mental health awareness within the Kenyan-American and other African communities. Mental wellness in the African culture is not a topic openly discussed or well addressed. In recent years, our community has faced rising numbers in youth suicide prompting an urgency for our youth to find an outlet to cope. We firmly believe now is the time to bring mental health conversations to the forefront of Kenyan communities domestically and globally. As young Kenyan immigrants who have been affected by mental health, we hope to break down the stigma by raising awareness. Mission Statement - “ every mind matters.”
