The Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes (CMEPIUS) is a public institution working in the field of international projects and international mobility.
It was established in October 2003 and performs two main tasks:
- co-ordinating the Erasmus+ programme in the field of education, training and sport, and
- supporting development in education and training.
In addition, CMEPIUS pursues national programmes of mobility (bilateral and multilateral scholarships of the Republic of Slovenia) such as CEEPUS and activities of some other European programmes in the area of education and training, including the eTwinning National Support Centre. Within the activities of the European Research Area (ERA) the Centre also acts as a Bridgehead Organisation of the EURAXESS National Centre.
The team of the Centre is strongly dedicated to opening doors to experience for individuals and institutions through international programmes. We aim to offer opportunities to people of all ages and interests and to support the institutions of different profiles in their way to realisation of international projects in the field of education and training.
We consider ourselves as a relevant partner within national as well as international educational environment. In our activities we strive for quality, taking the role of initiator, coordinator of knowledge, experience and ideas. We never lack proposals for further development, progress and growth. Bearing in mind generations that are to come, regions and states we would like to explore, we think openly.
