About CMMS: The Center for Men and Masculinities Studies, established in 2012, is a research based NGO registered under the Ministry of Social Welfare and NGO Bureaue, Government of Bangladesh. Mission CMMS is dedicated to engage boys and men for gender justice addressing masculinities. Our mission is to develop an evidence based knowledge generation and sharing platform on men and masculinity issues bringing together researchers, practitioners and activists to ensure justice. Vision The Center aims at supporting and promoting action research that furthers the development of boys and men as gender equitable human beings. Therefore, CMMS seeks to build bridges among a new generation of researchers, practitioners and activists who want to promote positive masculinities and contribute to develop gender equitable policies and practices addressing masculinities and challenging patriarchy.
