CMR Group is a business group founded in 1879 and dedicated to the marketing of fruit and vegetable products, whose parent company is Fruits CMR (El Prat, Barcelona).
We have our own points of sale in Mercabarna, Mercamadrid, and Mercaleon; commercial offices in Ridderkerk (Holland), Paris and Perpignan (France), and Lisbon (Portugal); and highly professionalized Distribution and Import-Export departments. For its part, our production subsidiary in Brazil (Natal), with an area of 2,200 hectares, cultivates and exports fruit and vegetable products to group companies under the COSARICA own brand. Our headquarters in El Prat de Llobregat houses, in its 11,000 m2, 28 cold rooms and 23 ripening rooms with a capacity for 5,000 pallets and 17 loading and unloading docks.
We sell very varied product lines: fruits, vegetables, tropical, exotic and ethnic, berries, citrus, IV and V range products, aromatic herbs and organic products. This wide range, its extensive period of availability, thanks to the counter-season imports that we have been developing since 1985, and the fact of working with shippers and producers from all geographical areas, in Spain and abroad, allow us to cover the maximum demand. of our clients: retailers, retailers, municipal markets, greengrocer chains, modern distribution and HORECA from South, Central, North and Eastern Europe and North Africa. We maintain a close relationship with them and with our suppliers which, in turn, generates an exchange of commercial information of great economic value.
Our total sales have maintained remarkable and sustained growth in recent years. All this thanks to an exceptional human team, where highly qualified young people work side by side, and collaborators with extensive experience and extensive knowledge of the sector.
