CMT Consulting is a veteran owned small business which provides a variety of services aligned to the Federal Government acquisition lifecycle and corresponding corporate business and operational activities. We give our clients a single source of business, operational, and technical insight to assist in forming effective business strategies aligned to their unique corporate goals, translating these strategies into comprehensive plans for achieving key objectives, and/or executing these plans to completion. Insight earned from decades of experience providing Information Technology (IT) services, solutions, and support to the Federal Government - as well as providing business development, capture management, proposal development, and execution support on behalf of small to large size companies. We work with our clients to assess their business needs and how CMT Consulting can best augment their internal resources to facilitate positive business and operational outcomes. CMT Consulting is led by Christopher “Mark” Thornton. Mark brings an eclectic set of experience and expertise formed over a 20-year career in the United States Air Force and 22 years working as a government contractor for companies to include McClendon Inc., SAIC, CSC, AOC Key Solutions, and Sedona Technologies Government Services. His career merges 42 years serving as IT professional with 19 years of performing in a variety of senior level corporate roles and positions. While most of his career has primarily focused on supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and multiple agencies of the Intelligence Community (IC), Mark has also supported corporate and government operations for the Peace Corps, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and others. Mark is recognized for his ability to leverage his diverse technical, customer, and business background to provide value added expertise, analysis, insight, and hands-on support across the entire Federal Acquisition lifecycle.
