• Provide safety leadership for Plant led construction and/or plant projects
• Participate in pre-– bid/pre—construction process to ensure safety requirements are clear to contractors.
• Conduct formal safety audits of activities related to construction and plant projects.
• Serve as a safety advisor to the contractors and the workers.
• Facilitate site safety meetings, and provide technical safety training as appropriate & safety orientation.
• Review contractors field audits, JSA plans and their adherence to Fed/provincial/local/company requirements.
