Student Research Centre (CNIRS) – Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade

Student Research Centre (CNIRS) of Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, is formally an official Student body’s scientific team formed in 2007, with the purpose of creating scientific opportunities for undergraduate pharmacy students to be included in research projects and training. To this day, Student Research Centre has successfully incorporated numerous students in the world of science, by connecting them with mentors and leaders of Fundamental Research Projects, and engaging students and their research papers in both national and international science summits. The Centre is a regular member of the National biomedicine students’ society, which allows pharmacy students to participate at the traditional annual Conference of biomedicine students. Student Research Centre’s activities include: • Announcing Science Contest in students’ research work, which is available to all pharmacy students who are eligible to apply, in accordance with General rules of the Contest; • Preparing exhibition and actively participating in Science Fair; • Accepting all student research papers developed at the Faculty, either from the Contest or concluded independently, for the participation at different national and international conferences and congresses; • Organising science workshops that are mandatory to attend, in order to be eligible for presenting a research paper at the Faculty’s Science Contest and at the annual Conference of biomedicine students; • Organising other science workshops which help students bolster not only their research, but also academic and communication skills; • Accepting research papers that are eligible for University reward for the best scientific work.
