CNPOCUS - The Canadian Neonatal POCUS Society®

Established in 2018 as POCUSNEO by Canadian neonatologists Dr. Muzafar Gani Abdulwahab from McMaster University and Dr. Yasser Elsayed from the University of Manitoba, POCUSNEO is now rebranded to CNPOCUS. CNPOCUS - The Canadian Neonatal Point of Care Ultrasound Society® is a not-for-profit federal organization registered in Canada (Reg No. 1683799-9 under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act). In collaboration with over sixty world-renowned faculty, the society is dedicated to advancing neonatal care through global education, We are a group of neonatal clinicians committed to supporting healthcare teams caring for newborns and preterm infants by promoting physiological understanding, effective troubleshooting, and appropriate clinical decision-making in emergencies using bedside ultrasound. Our integrated educational approach includes one-to-one hands-on training, innovative tools such as e-books, clinical decision support systems (CDSS), remote interactive modules, workshops, and webinars, all designed to translate physiology-based insights into everyday neonatal practice.
