🔵 Since 1982, CO.L.MAR. has been active in the field of ocean engineering. Born from co-operation of scientists and engineers with extensive experience in the field of marine acoustics and geophysics, CO.L.MAR. has subsequently spread its activity on several applications and underwater acoustics. Some examples are: 🔹 Coastal geophysical surveys for harbour engineering, pipeline and cable shore approaches, erosion monitoring, archaeological investigation. 🔹 Design and manufacturing of underwater acoustic instrumentation: hydrophones, towed and vertical arrays, active and passive sensors, instrumentation for the study of whales and dolphins behaviour. 🔹 ALD (Acoustic Leak Detector) patented equipment for the acoustic detection of leaks in underwater oil or gas pipelines. 🔹 Underwater acoustic measurements. 🔵 For these activities, CO.L.MAR. is relying on a team of highly qualified graduate engineers at the Master Level, on well equipped electronic and acoustic laboratories and on the co-operation with a network of companies and suppliers.
