Co-Risk Labs is a worker-owned cooperative formed by leading practitioners in disaster risk management, system modelling, vulnerability and capacity analysis, engineering design, spatial analysis, community engagement, monitoring and evaluation, training and learning.
We believe that responding to the challenges in disaster and climate risk in the 21st Century is a collective responsibility that requires shared understanding and collaborative action. We facilitate new alliances and conversations. We listen. We co-develop solutions. By taking a critical approach to our work, we open avenues for technical staff, large organisations and communities to produce knowledge together. We work with clients and the public to redesign ways to create, test and act upon risk information.
We cultivate impactful work by bringing forward bold projects that demonstrate how technical excellence and values of social justice can align and improve disaster risk reduction and recovery practice.
