Wij geloven dat onze studie ons moet voorbereiden op de toekomst. Ook geloven wij dat artsen ten eerste niet moeten schaden: primum non nocere. Daarom pleiten wij voor meer onderwijs over de klimaatcrisis in het geneeskunde curriculum.
De klimaatcrisis heeft een enorme impact op de gezondheidszorg, en de gezondheidszorg heeft een significante CO₂ impact. Over beide onderwerpen leren we haast niets, en toekomstige artsen gaan deze crisis en acute transitie dus blind tegemoet. Wij vinden dat hier zeer snel verandering in moet komen! We kunnen niet wachten op een nieuw raamplan, want dat duurt 10 jaar!
