The Continuous Construction of Resilient Social Contracts Through Societal Transformations (CO3) is a Horizon Europe research project studying more open, inclusive, and democratic models of social contracts. It combines theoretical analysis of contemporary social contract theories with empirical investigation of 11 country cases across Europe to understand and address the contradictions and tensions in current social contracts.
1. CO3 creates a theoretically and empirically grounded model of resilient social contracts that takes into account their continuously evolving nature.
2. CO3 makes an analysis of the key factors for challenging and strengthening social contracts under crises.
3. CO3 produces an applicable framework with policy recommendations for promoting resilient social contracts.
