EMCCINNO

Climate change is an issue that threatens Europe’s future. The EU has set ambitious climate goals, which are presented in the Green Deal. Achieving these goals requires not only new technologies but also changes in society and culture. Cultural and creative industries (CCIs) play an important role in this transition, but many small and medium-sized organisations lack the resources to make a significant impact. With this in mind, the EU-funded EMCCINNO project (EMpowering CCIs to boost systemic INNOvation for sustainable climate transition) will help CCIs develop sustainable business models. The project will bring together five organisations from different EU countries to test solutions and transition pathways tailored to their needs. By empowering these cultural and artistic social enterprises (CASE), EMCCINNO aims to enhance their contributions to climate transition.
