The Coalition for Defense (CFD) aims to increase awareness and understanding of the pre-eminent role the Dutch defence force has within society, within NATO and within the EU.
CFD aims to leverage its international network to halt defence cuts NATO-wide, to support NATO’s national military forces and to bring the defence topic back on the public agenda.
CFD urges governments to increase military spending to at least 2 percent of GDP or more, as agreed on by all NATO members.
