Welcome to the Coastal Regional Commission (CRC)! At the CRC, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life and fostering sustainable development across the 10 counties and 35 cities of coastal Georgia that we proudly serve. As a regional commission established under the Georgia Planning Act, our primary mission is to assist local governments on a regional basis. Our mandate encompasses a range of state-required planning activities, including comprehensive planning, Developments of Regional Impact (DRIs), Service Delivery Strategies, and more. The CRC operates the Coastal Regional Coaches, a regional transit system that serves seamlessly across all 10 counties. By providing reliable transit services, we enhance mobility and guarantee access to essential resources for our communities. Moreover, as the designated Coastal Area Agency on Aging (AAA), we are deeply committed to supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers through a comprehensive suite of services aimed at promoting independence and well-being.
