Formerly known as Hamden-Shoreline OMS which was founded in 1988, CCOMS has grown into the premier Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice of Connecticut. With offices in Hamden and Guilford, we treat patients from all throughout the state, including surrounding New Haven, Middlesex, New London, and Fairfield counties. The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Conforti, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Salomon and Dr. Heifetz-Li are highly trained and experienced in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including: - Dental Implants - Wisdom Teeth Extraction - Corrective Jaw Surgery - Oral Pathology - Bone Grafting The doctors have privileges at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale-New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus, and Yale Shoreline Surgical Center. Additionally, they are actively involved with the residency training program at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus. Intravenous anesthesia is an integral part of the practice, and all offices are well equipped to handle any situation which may arise. Appropriate consultations are obtained from patients’ physicians when indicated, and state of the art monitors are used with every patient. The doctors are certified in CPR and Adult and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support and are board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
