COBIOE is a European funded project of 5 health clusters/networks across EU, which aims to interconnect bioproduction ecosystems to converge toward a common strategy and support for the sector: small molecules, innovative therapeutics, high technology drugs based on cell and molecular biology covering various application in health.
What is COBIOE?
Our ambition is to facilitate the structuring and piloting of a competitive European biomanufacturing sector with the support of the European Commission and the Member States, to contribute to securing Europe's position as a world leader in biomanufacturing and to integrate the various players in the field into cross-border value chains.
Key Objectives:
👉 Strengthen European industrial bioproduction capacities
👉 Reduce the shortage in competences and retain skilled workers
👉 Facilitate access to public and private funding
👉 Accelerate research and innovation to discover new treatments
👉 Promote the field and raise awareness among the public.
