Cocoaly Africa

Cocoaly is a food processing startup using technology to upcycle cocoa waste in Africa into valuable products to generate additional income for cocoa farmers and reduce food waste. Our focus is processing of cocoa pulp into fruit juice and cocoa husk into flour that can be used in the bakery. African cocoa farmers earn less than $2 per day, while 75% of their cocoa fruit component goes to waste. We are providing an additional source of income to the farmers by converting their cocoa waste to wealth. Our goal is to create a traceable and sustainable cocoa supply chain that positively affects the planet, the farmers, the environment, the climate and even ourselves.
