THE DESIGNER After graduating from ESMOD University in Paris specializing in lingerie, designer Sonia Mehdizade spent years working in the field of fashion in both Stockholm and Paris. In 2018 she decided it was time to create something of her own. The swimwear brand COCO&NUTS was born out of a desire to create bikinis that would stand the test of time and become your favorite basics in your wardrobe. Weaving together her own personality and style, Sonia Mehdizade designs pieces that are wearable, timeless, sexy and fun. COCO&NUTS is based in Stockholm but has its production in Bali, where every bikini is carefully hand made. Bali has long before COCO&NUTS was founded been Sonia’s favorite place on earth, and therefore naturally being a huge inspiration for the brand. MIX & MATCH With years of experience in studying and working in the field of lingerie, Sonia Mehdizade has a great understanding for the female figure and its different needs in both style and sizing. And since we all have different needs, Sonias philosophy is that all the pieces should be designed and sold individually instead of in sets. This is the concept of” MIX & MATCH” which not only gives you more control over sizing, but also gives you the opportunity to mix and match between different styles.
