I came up with the name "Coconut Couture" because it’s a combination of what I am, what I believe in and my vision for my small shop.
I am proud to be born and raised in the Philippines where coconut trees thrive. Making use of coconut’s every part from the fruit, flowers, leaves to trunk are to me—endlessly sustainable. Thus, #nofabricwasted and #nomaterialswasted. My small shop also strives to be as eco-friendly as possible—by using reusable, recyclable and as little packaging as possible. #lesspackaginglesstrash
I added "couture” not just because it has a good ring to it, but it represents my vision: A quintessential shop that will make you feel you’re in the tropics.
