Code for the Culture

Code for the Culture is a transformative career development community dedicated to empowering coding bootcamp and college graduates on their journey to secure their first software engineering job. Our mission is to help BIPOC people bridge the gap between technical training and real-world job success, helping our graduates harness their skills, talents, and passion to become innovative and successful professionals. We understand the unique challenges that coding bootcamp and college graduates face in their pursuit of a successful career in software engineering. While bootcamps offer intensive technical training, they often lack the resources and guidance necessary to help graduates navigate the complexities of the job market. And while universities dive deep into theory, there is often less emphasis on practical application. These gaps can lead to uncertainty, frustration, and missed opportunities. Recognizing these hurdles, we have designed a unique approach to address the specific needs of our community members, providing them with the tools, support, and network to transition smoothly into their new careers.
