We all know technology is the future, but for many youth across the world, they are unable to equip themselves with the skills needed to take on this future because of factors they can’t control. These barriers stem from racism, homelessness, financial struggles, homophobia and the list goes on. To break past these barriers, Codespire strives to bring technological skills to underprivileged youth and inspire with exposure. 💻 Codespire partners with existing youth organizations and shelters to deliver online and in-person workshops directly to their demographics. Following a structure of exposure, practice, taking on the world, these workshops cover topics including programming, digital design, machine learning and more. 🌏
