Coexister Germany e.V.

Coexister is a youth movement that stands for peace, social cohesion and friendships between people of different faiths and world views (spiritual, religious, philosophical) and promotes these ideas by organising social events and carrying out joint actions in the service of society and the general interest. We believe that diversity enriches our lives and has the potential to strengthen a society through dialogue and empathy. We stand for a democratic, free and secular state with a diverse and multi-religious German society, in which individuals face each other with respect and understanding. We condemn all forms of discrimination and see encounter as the key to cohesion. We consider the social model of active coexistence, which describes people of different faiths and world views living together cooperatively and harmoniously, as a positive and necessary contribution to promote a peaceful society and reduce social tensions.
