As an urban public college, a key feature of the mission of the College of Charleston is to provide a workforce pipeline to support the region’s growing high-tech and manufacturing industries. To that end, in 2024, the College of Charleston launched the new School of Engineering, Computing, and Mathematics. This school comprises three departments: 1. Department of Engineering 2. Department of Computer Science 3.
