With CoffeeCodeBreak we aim to make it as easy as possible for women in tech to access mentoring and a female network. We strive to make women in tech more visible and thus provide more recognized role models.
CoffeeCodeBreak started with Carolyn, who found herself in the situation of excessively listening to podcasts to figure out how other women had dealt with tough situations at work. Aware of her lack of real mentors, she started looking for females to connect with.
During her research she came across exclusive networks with application and mentor-mentee-matching processes in order to have a chat with another female in the tech sector. While these networks have their unique benefits, none of them were what Carolyn was looking for.
Therefore she decided to build her own platform. A platform where every woman can easily book free mentoring sessions with another female of her choice who has at least two years of experience in tech.
