Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy

Our goal is to spread the practice, education and research about Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT) The main activities that the CBPT carries out are aimed at: a. Promote studies and research. Allow the dissemination and development of prevention activities through the use of interviews, psychodiagnostic and assessment tools and Play Therapy and CBPT techniques for childhood and adolescents, as well as in the field of deviance, discomfort, of marginalization, of immigrants, of women, of the elderly, of families. b. Carrying out intervention projects with psycho-educational, psychological, rehabilitative and Cognitive-Behavioral psychotherapy (CBT) methodologies. In particular, Play Therapy and CBPT techniques will be applied to school, social, training and hospital organizational structures; of childhood; of teenagers; of families. c. Promote research and implementation of interventions in the various fields in which educational and training psychology, developmental psychology and psychopathology, play therapy and CBPT are articulated, with particular reference to the following topics: - Neurodevelopmental disorders; - difficulties and learning strategies; - the integration of the disabled; - early school leaving; - educational success; - class group management; - the hospitalization process; - the trauma; - emotional difficulties; - the "siblings" and the families of hospitalized children; - the educational relationship; - families, children and adolescents victims of violence; - contexts of disadvantage and marginalization.
