At Cognosketch, LLC, our journey began with the realization that every child develops at different rates and learns in unique ways. What often appears as a “learning difficulty” may stem from neuropsychological variations that influence how one perceives and processes information. Visual processing, in particular, plays a key role in learning, along with motor and visual-motor integration (VMI) functions. These cognitive functions are essential not just for children, but for adults as well, influencing how we process, analyze, and interact with the world. Understanding the importance of these neuropsychological functions led us to create a platform aimed at decoding these core processes and abilities. Our tools provide insights into how individuals perceive, learn, and problem-solve. More importantly, we offer personalized recommendations and assistive tools to help individuals improve these functions. Our platform is designed for both children and adults. In early education settings, our software analyzes visual cognitive and motor functions to help understand learning difficulties in young children. For example, it can be used to understand the impact of dyslexia, vision deficits or impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder (visual-motor aspect), cerebral palsy, DCD, and more. With the tools we offer, we believe educators and parents can provide more targeted and effective support. For adults — especially older adults — our platform seeks to identify neuropsychological issues triggered by age-related changes, injury, or disease. These insights and subsequent interventions can help improve cognitive functioning and quality of life. Our ultimate goal is not only to provide insights into these cognitive processes but also to offer tools for remediation and therapy.
