Cohesion Foundation is a Trust, registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, and has been working for the past two decades towards the holistic development of the most vulnerable sections of society, with a key focus on women. With a pan-India presence, Cohesion reaches underserved, untouched, and aspirational districts identified by the Government of India, addressing both rural and urban aspects of development.
Our major interventions focus on constituencies such as single women, children (with an emphasis on the girl child), tribal and forest dwellers, Primitive Vulnerable Tribal Groups, minorities, women farmers, the third gender, youth, and domestic and construction workers. To date, we have collaborated with the ICDS Department, the Education Department, various government departments, Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, philanthropic organisations, and international bodies such as UN agencies, the World Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, and the HCL Foundation.
Over time, our work has been recognised by national and international platforms, including NITI Aayog, GuideStar India, the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Brand Honchos, CSR Times, and NGO Box.
