Coldiretti Pesca

Since 2010, Coldiretti has established its own organizational structure for the fishing sector, creating its own category representative body and starting to group together the various aquaculture companies already present within the Confederation (effectively zootechnical companies) and some fishing companies which they had seen in Coldiretti an opportunity for the development of actions more aimed at the market than at actual production. In order to allow fishing and aquaculture companies to fully enter the Confederal structure with their specificity, Coldiretti has thus modified the national social statute, as well as that of all regional and provincial bodies, inserting the membership of companies from the fisheries, fisheries, aquaculture sector and their supply chain. To date, Coldiretti Pesca represents approximately 10% of national fishing companies, made up of aggregative structures and individual businesses. The members, depending on the various areas, operate in the so-called segment. artisanal "small-scale fishing", in the medium one and also in the so-called “big catch”; in some regions (e.g. Lombardy, Umbria, etc.) internal waters are also affected.
