Since 1992 the Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce has been promoting, connecting, and advancing the GLBTQ-owned and GLBTW-friendly business community.
Through its affiliation with NGLCC (National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce) members of the CO LGBTQ CC can apply to for LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE®) designation.
By becoming a certified LGBTBE, businesses are able to build relationships with America's leading corporations, generate prospective business and clients, and collectively team with each other for contracting opportunities. As corporate America becomes more inclusive and further diversifies its supply chain, certification offers the opportunity for LGBT-owned businesses to differentiate themselves from their competitors and expand into larger markets and clients.
The CO LGBTQ CC also hosts a number of events to develop businesses through networking groups, educational seminars, business expo, and our annual Awards Gala where we recognize leaders and entrepreneurs that have made a difference in the LGBT business community.
We work closely with diversity programs to help connect businesses, large and small, with this significant demographic.
