Colkonnect is a 1st of its kind web portal for college search & selection of colleges in India. Launched for engineering aspirants of Karnataka, the portal profiled 150 colleges covering parameters like academics, faculty, infrastructure & placements, introduced tools like Rank vs Cut off, Match Maker (user criterion based search) & College Compare and provided discussion forums, helpline & latest updates during the counseling period. Within 3 months, Colkonnect registered a million page hits (target segment: 1.5 lacs) & counseled 40,000 students. It was recognized as a key contributor in the area of admission counseling by leading national/vernacular dailies like The Times of India, Bangalore Mirror, Prajavani, Kannadaprbha & others
