Collective Circus

Collective Circus is a group of emerging artists based in Meanjin/Brisbane, Queensland. The name Collective Circus stems from the idea that we have come together from various individual paths and journeys to share what we love. We are inspired to create work that is relevant to us; our backgrounds, our stories, our struggles, and our unique personal experiences are at the heart of what we create. Working and coming together from our unique backgrounds and having different experiences gives our work relevance, significance, and distinctiveness that is special to us. When we join to create and build on each-others’ ideas it is then our most interesting and meaningful pieces are formed. As we develop as young artists, we look forward to sharing our journey; through our performance art pieces.
