The origins of Collins dated back to 1819 when William Collins, a Presbyterian schoolmaster, set up his first printing press in Glasgow. By late 1800s, William Collins & Sons set up operations in Sydney, Australia. The Collins business went on to produce an array of successful products, such as the Kingsgrove and Vanessa diaries, and the definitive Account and Analysis book collection..
In 1979, the Collins brand merged with Debden Associates to become Collins Debden and have since become Australia’s leading force in the diary and organiser market.
Remaining Number 1 and 2 in Australia, the Collins and Debden brands continue to develop products aimed to improve the daily lives of consumers.
