Here at Colorful Minds, we provide Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA) therapy for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, behavioral, and developmental disorders in the clinical, school, and in-home setting . ABA is a science in which different principles are applied systematically to improve socially significant behaviors and identify variables responsible for behavior change. We implement a broad continuum of direct services throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This includes specialized instruction in the areas of behavior, communication, self-help skills, socialization, and play skills. In addition, it is of utmost importance that the parents or guardians are made a part of the therapy process; educational material and training are made available to them. The ABA approach is unique to each individual based on his or her initial and ongoing assessment needs; therefore, goals and treatment plans will change according to how an individual progresses.
