La première société du groupe COMAT a été créée en 1972 sur initiative de Monsieur Jacques Conter. Les locaux de l’entreprise étaient alors à Luxembourg-Hamm. Aujourd’hui, le groupe est fort de quatre entités et s’est installé dans la zone industrielle de Howald, dans la banlieue sud de Luxembourg-Ville. Les sociétés sont toujours dirigées par la famille Conter.
COMAT sells, repairs and rents materials for the construction sector, for industries and public institutions. The range of products is very wide, from small tools to heavy-duty and industrial equipment.
In 1972, Mr. Jacques Conter founded the first company of the COMAT group, which had its offices in Luxembourg-Hamm. Today, the group has four different entities and is located in Howald, in the southern suburbs of Luxembourg-City. (Map here). The companies are still directed by the members of the Conter family.
