COMBAT ISLAMOPHOBIA

On 15 March 2022, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution by consensus which was introduced by Munir Akram, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that proclaimed March 15 as 'International Day to Combat Islamophobia'., the resolution calls upon all member states to foster religious freedom and pluralism, to ensure religious minorities are properly represented, and to consider adopting measures to criminalize incitement to imminent violence based on religion or belief. Our main objective in creating this platform is to create awareness among people about the teaching of Islam. We respect all religions, beliefs, and all human beings, and we expect the same from all people to respect Islam and Muslims and create a peaceful world for all human beings. All of us should raise our voices peacefully and effectively against Islamophobia in every forum so that we can tell and explain to the world that actions against Islam are serious crimes, and will create hatred between people and between religions. Being Muslim, we respect and care about all religions and beliefs, as we learn this from the teaching of Islam. Islam commands us to love, brotherhood, peace, and mercy with each other, and these were also the teachings of our beloved Prophet (صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ)
